The ceremony of the beatification of the Venerable Servant of God, Antonio Rosmini, which will be celebrated on Sunday 18 November 2007 at Novara in the presence of the Pope Benedict XVI’s representative, Cardinal Josè Saraiva Martins comes at the end of a long journey. This began at the start of the nineties and came to a conclusion firstly with the Decree on the Heroic Virtues of the Servant of God Antonio Rosmini of 1^st July 2006 which recognised that he expressed constantly in his life and writings, evangelical virtues totally and in a heroic degree, and therefore was deemed to be Venerable, and, subsequently, in the Decree on the Miraculous Cure of Sister Lodovica Noè, attributed to the intercession of the Venerable Servant of God, Antonio Rosmini, promulgated by the Congregation of the Causes of the Saints on 1^st June last on the authorization of the Holy Father, Benedict XVI.
